So the location is perfect, just 5 mins to the Tooth Temple and KCC and the lake, the guy running it is a gentleman, very helpful and very polite. Breakfast also is fine Eggs and Toast, the hotel is old but does the job. I think there is 01 small room which will not match the photos or maybe there can be one on each floor, but just make sure you don't get that room as it is very small and not even worth the low price. Otherwise Value for money. For nightlife I think the best place is Slightly Chilled, you would need to take a tuk tuk to and fro, but good thing is that PickMe works just fine here. Enjoy.

Unfortunately due to Covid 19 I was unable to make my trip to Sri Lanka and stay at this hotel,but I have to say as soon as I made the booking I received a WhatsApp message from Prabath, the manager offering to pick me up at the station at 9pm.He also was so kind as to book the blue train from Kandy to Ella,and back again to Colombo for me at his own expense.'Just pay me back when you get here',he said. He also phoned me in the UK offering me travel advice.For a seasoned traveler I must say this is unprecedented to me. I am so sorry that I couldn't make this trip at this time but one day I will,and the first place I will look up is this one and this very kind and friendly man.Thankyou Prabath

The man who works here (Prabath) is genuinely the nicest person you will ever meet. He was incredibly helpful giving advice on what to see in Kandy, whilst also helping us with transport such as tuk tuks to the supermarket, train stations and even booking train tickets. The rooms were very clean. 10/10

We arrived here with our tuk tuk. The owner helped us parking it and gave us te room. It was a big room with a nice bed. The owner told us everything we needed to know like were to go in Kandy and after. Was a very plessent stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Kandy a lot and this homestay was always a good base. Well located, but yet very calm (balcony to the back). No luxury at all, but everything was clean and neat, we had towels, a/c and wifi. The host was so nice and helpful, he could help us with every question without being intrusive at all. That's also why we extended our stay from 1 to 4 nights. Wifi is not the best, but not outstanding anywhere else. Price performance ratio is great and we can definitely recommend this place!
